At Johar Highlands, honey is more than a product — it’s a purpose.
Our journey began not in a boardroom, but in the heart of the Himalayan forests of Jammu & Kashmir, where bees hum freely among wildflowers and the air is crisp, clean, and untouched by modern chaos. It's here, in these serene, sacred spaces, that nature creates her purest gift: honey rich in nutrients, flavor, and soul.
But our story has a deeper origin — one rooted in experience and vision.
Founded by a retired Agriculture Officer with over three decades of field wisdom, and his daughter, who shared a dream of bringing real change to the honey industry, Johar Highlands was born out of love — for nature, for purity, and for empowering rural communities.
Together, they saw a gap in the market flooded with processed, diluted honey — and they set out to fill it with authentic, premium-quality honey, sourced directly from high-altitude apiaries in Jammu & Kashmir’s untouched forests and meadows.
We work closely with local beekeepers, honoring traditional methods and protecting bee habitats. Every jar is traceable, free from additives, and crafted with purpose — not profit.

At Johar Highlands, we’re more than just honey – we’re a movement. Bees are tiny superheroes of our ecosystem, pollinating over 70% of the crops that feed the world. Without them, there’s no food, no forests, no future.
But here’s the sting: bee populations are declining fast due to pesticides, climate change, and habitat loss. That’s why we’re launching a Bee Conservation Initiative – " BEESERVATION " a mission to protect these powerful pollinators and preserve biodiversity.
From planting wildflowers to building bee hotels, supporting local beekeepers, and spreading awareness, we’re committed to creating a world where bees can thrive.
